12 Days of Christmas
The 12 days of Christmas is a series of wooden two-dimensional panels. Made for a distinguished client and patron who had previously commissioned furniture, this project was discussed over a period of many months before a cut was made (periodic meetings), so ensuring the client's dream became a reality. Quality and client satisfaction is of the essence, not speed.The native limewood used was ideally suited to this unusual request for highly-detailed work, almost a throwback to a forgotten era. Once again the Acanthus Studio exploring the boundaries of tradition through the imaginative forms and inventive structures - hallmarks of Acanthus. |
